Hey guys. I've been learning how to bowl basically from scratch as I've been out of it since 2016, and I'm having a heck of a time with my thumb. I saw a video where you said you didn't like the method of pressing the nail part of the thumb against the back of the thumb hole. What's a better way of gripping the ball? When I grip with the base of my thumb it hurts, if I grip the back of the hole with my nail it hurts on the downswing. I'm lostย ๐Ÿ˜‚

I have a question regarding my attempt at bowling before I am a hand player with the right. The main problem is as soon as I let the ball out of the hand and go into the throw I automatically get it from the right. That means no matter what I do, my ball never comes out where I aim, and my feet are not straight when I indicate, and I bend forward, and my upper body is not looking forward but strongly to the right. I hope someone can help me

Daniel Puerto I continue to have issues with my legs drastically affecting my approach. I have been able to mostly adapt with my right leg, but I have a high hamstring issue and some persistent tendinitis in my left leg. This has been going on for a year and I am faced with a choice. I can take 6-12 months off and hope it heals, but I would rather try to switch to 2 handed. I believe a more forward posture and posting at release takes a lot of load off my hamstring. Can you point me to something which will help me start the change and decide whether that is an option?

Working on the game today. Noticed that I had a lot of ball movement in my first step. This is why itโ€™s always important to take video and check in with your game.

Iโ€™ve been having issues with consistency at release point and having to much ball movement in the first step is one of the reasons. Why? Itโ€™s a movement thatโ€™s hard to repeat consistently. Some shots Iโ€™ll move it a little bit and other Iโ€™ll move it more. Going to work on cleaning this up and quite down the push away๐Ÿ’ฏ
