Hmmm. That is a tough one David. I am sorry you are struggling with this

So, I would just recommend going to the bowling center and trying to throw the ball two handed a few different times. Let you and your body throw it as best as naturally does to you. Then decide

It is in fact a bit of whatever works for you. You do not have to modify the Strikeforce heel, you can just buy a Dexter H7 heel and done. By the way, that is what I use

William Jackson I am glad you enjoyed the process! I am also glad you saw some improvement on the performance of your bowling balls. But you are right, it is a process.

This is the same I tell our customers in the shop…..I am happy to teach and show them the process even inside our store, but at the end of the day, it comes down to time availability and technique. Basically, do you bowler want to pay us $50 to do the whole thing for you? Or do you want to do it yourself which will take you 3 hours for a couple of balls?

For those that bowl a lot, and have many many bowling balls, the savings can be really big! I guess it also takes the kind of bowler that likes messing with it all

Just keep one thing in mind William. Getting the oil out of the ball is only half the battle. The ball is a sponge and it will re absorb whatever oil sits at the surface. So, the trick is to get the ball sweating oil, pull it out, give it a good cleaning with ball cleaner and a towel (I prefer microfiber) and then put it back in so it sweats some more….then do it again.

Pro Tip: there is no such a thing as bleeding ALL the oil out of the ball. Don’t do it till the ball stops sweating, that is way too much and you are also bleeding out Plastizicer as you bleed out the oil (Plastizicer is what makes the ball “reactive” and you don’t want to bleed all that out)

At our shop, we never run a bowling ball for more than an hour and a half, pulling it out 3 to 4 times in the process to clean it out

Good luck and have fun tinkering with this,…..it is fun

We do not send ball renewal emails…..we just bank on you to email us! So, please email us with Name, address, phone number, ball model and ball weight and we will take care of ordering your bowling ball. The email address is brad.kyle300@gmail.com

Hi William. Thank you for the question.

Yes, bowling balls lose their performance quite fast, and it is right at the 100 game mark when it becomes really noticeable. So much so, that a brand new ball with “less” hook potential can out hook the ball with more hook potential. Just like you are experiencing

Yes, taking the oil out of the ball helps a ton! But, it needs to be done with resurfacing job as well for you to really see the difference.

At our shops, a de-0il job includes touching up the surface of the ball….I would ask if your shop does that too???

Buying your own ball revivor can be a good investment but only if you do it properly. You have to take the ball out, clean it with cleaner, and put it back in several times during the process. That is aside from also attending to the surface of the ball

I hope my answer gives you the right direction but if you have more questions please by all means I am here

Without really taking into account your arsenal I can tell you that the reviews from our customers from the Equinox are WAY better than the reviews on the Physix Blackout
